Microneedling is a controlled skin treatment that creates tiny micro-channels in the skin. This activates the skin’s natural renewal response and supports new collagen production.
The treatment may gradually improve skin texture, fine lines, enlarged pores and the appearance of certain scars.

HOW DOES IT WORK?
A professional microneedling device creates controlled micro-channels at a depth selected for your skin concern and treatment area.
These micro-channels encourage the skin’s natural repair process. Collagen renewal takes place gradually, so improvements develop over time rather than immediately.
BEFORE
Your skin and medical history will be assessed. The treatment area will be thoroughly cleansed and the treatment will be adjusted according to your skin condition and goals.
DURING
The Microneedling device is passed systematically over the treatment area. You may feel pressure, vibration, warmth or mild sensitivity.
AFTER
Your skin may look pink or red and feel warm, tight or sensitive. Mild dryness or flaking may develop during the following few days.

SPECIALISED MICRONEEDLING

The skin may appear fresher once the initial redness settles, but collagen renewal takes time. Changes in texture and overall skin quality generally develop gradually over several weeks. Scarring and more advanced concerns usually require a course of treatments.
Individual results vary according to the skin concern, treatment depth, healing response, skincare and consistency with the recommended treatment plan.

Microneedling & Advanced Treatments
Microneedling creates controlled micro-channels in the skin to stimulate its natural repair response. This supports collagen and elastin production and can help improve skin texture, fine lines, enlarged pores and certain types of scarring.
Microneedling may be recommended for fine lines, uneven texture, enlarged pores, acne scarring, general skin rejuvenation and loss of firmness. Suitability depends on your individual skin and the concern being treated.
This depends on your skin and goals. Some clients choose microneedling for general skin maintenance, while concerns such as acne scarring or more noticeable texture changes usually require a course of treatments. Your treatment plan will be personalised rather than based on a fixed number for everyone.
The treatment can feel uncomfortable in certain areas, but comfort is managed appropriately during the procedure. Sensitivity varies from person to person and according to the area being treated.
Redness, warmth, tightness and sensitivity are common immediately afterwards and can resemble mild sunburn. Your skin may feel dry or slightly rough during the following days while the barrier recovers.
Most of the visible redness settles within the first few days, although healing varies between individuals and treatment intensity. Your skin may remain more sensitive while it recovers, so appropriate aftercare is important.
Your skin barrier has temporarily been disrupted, so makeup should not be applied immediately after treatment. You’ll be given specific instructions on when it is appropriate to resume makeup.
Keep your routine simple and gentle while your skin recovers. Avoid retinoids, exfoliating acids and other potentially irritating active ingredients during the initial healing period. Appropriate hydration and daily SPF are particularly important.
Avoid strenuous exercise and excessive sweating for approximately 48 hours after treatment. Heat and sweat can increase irritation while the skin barrier is recovering.
Some clients notice an improvement in skin appearance as the initial healing settles, but collagen remodelling happens gradually. Improvements in texture and firmness develop over the following weeks and can continue with a properly planned treatment course.
Microneedling can improve the appearance of certain types of atrophic acne scarring, but not every scar responds in the same way. Your scarring needs to be assessed first so that realistic expectations and an appropriate treatment plan can be discussed.
It depends on the type and severity of the breakout. Microneedling is generally not performed directly over active inflammatory or infected acne lesions. We may need to stabilise the skin first before treating residual scarring or texture.
Plasma Lift uses controlled plasma energy to create small, precise points on the skin. The treatment is used for selected areas where skin tightening is the goal, such as certain concerns around the eye area. A consultation is important to determine whether you are a suitable candidate.
Small treatment dots or crusts form in the treated area and remain visible during the initial healing period. Swelling can occur, particularly around the eyes, and the area needs to be allowed to heal naturally without picking or removing the crusts.
Plasma Lift has more visible downtime than many facial treatments. Swelling is usually most noticeable during the first few days, while the treatment dots/crusts can remain visible for 7-10 before naturally shedding. Healing varies between clients.
The skin continues to remodel after the visible healing period, so the final result should not be judged immediately. Changes can continue developing over the following weeks as the tissue heals and remodels. (12 weeks)
No. Skin type and pigmentation risk are particularly important with Plasma Lift. It is not appropriate for every client, and darker Fitzpatrick skin types can have a greater risk of post-inflammatory pigmentation or other complications. Suitability must be assessed before treatment.
Dermaplaning is a professional exfoliation treatment that gently removes superficial dead skin cells and fine vellus hair from the surface of the skin. It can leave the skin feeling smoother and create a more refined surface.
No. Dermaplaning does not change the structure of the hair follicle. Fine vellus hair will grow back according to its normal growth pattern and does not become thicker or darker simply because it has been dermaplaned.
Yes, when appropriate. Dermaplaning can complement certain facials and advanced treatments, but whether treatments should be combined depends on your skin condition and the procedure being performed.
