I’m Sandra de Beer, a qualified Somatologist and Cosmetic Tattoo Artist, and the woman behind Esthetiek.

I graduated from Isa Carstens Academy in 2013 and spent the next four years working in an aesthetic salon, gaining hands-on experience in professional skincare and advanced treatments. Eventually, I knew I wanted to create something of my own — a space where excellent treatment results and genuine personal care could exist together. And so, Esthetiek was born.

Over the years, Esthetiek has grown alongside me. I’ve continued learning, refining my skills and expanding into advanced skincare and cosmetic tattooing, but the heart of the business has stayed the same: I want you to understand your skin, feel comfortable asking questions and trust that what I recommend is genuinely right for you.

I’m also a mom of two, and my son is autistic. Motherhood — particularly raising a child who experiences and communicates with the world differently — has taught me even more about the importance of listening, educating, nurturing and never assuming that one approach works for everyone.

I bring that same mindset into Esthetiek. Every skin is different. Every person sitting in front of me is different. Sometimes the right answer is an advanced treatment; sometimes it’s starting slowly, changing homecare or simply explaining what is happening with your skin.

Esthetiek has always felt a little like one of my children. I’ve built it, nurtured it and grown with it. And perhaps that’s why the people who walk through its doors are never treated like appointment numbers. I genuinely care about the person I’m treating — not just the treatment I’m performing.
